Hello, I arrived into Thailand around April on a TR visa with a US Passport and did an extension for another 30 days and had to leave early July. I did a visa run to Vietnam and arrived back into Thailand and received 30 day visa exempt. I was wondering when this 30 days is up, is there a 60 days extension for people who are married to a Thai citizen or I can only get the 30 day extension? TIA

Hi, I’m visiting my wife’s family in Thailand soon and need some guidance with the visa situation please.

The duration of my visit is 4 weeks in total and I’m an Indian citizen from Canada. I already applied for a tourist visa at the embassy however it’s taking a long time and I’ll be travelling soon.

So, I’m planning to get a visa on arrival when I reach Thailand but as I understand, the duration for this has been reduced back to 15 days now so is there a way to extend it after I arrive, maybe based on marriage?

What happens if my tourist e-visa gets approved while I’m inside Thailand? Can I just continue being there?

Hi everybody.

Before writing the post I searched if there was a similar one but I didn't find a definitive answer to my question. I currently have a "covid visa' which expires on March 17th. Before i had an ED visa so i cannot renew the covid visa. Now I am married to a thai national and i was wondering if it was possible to get some visa, such as visiting thai family or non O visa due to marriage, without leaving the country. Thank you for any replies

Hello everyone!

I am due to report my 90 days ( first time ) and obviously online system isn’t operational. I currently hold a non immigrant O ( married to Thai) multiple entry visa valid for 1 year.

I went to the local immigration office in prachuap this morning and the person at the immigrations office told me that I had to leave the country and come back and get a stamp from the airport customs... she also gave me another option which is to change my current visa to a « visiting Thai family » visa (60 days validity)... or, supporting a Thai wife visa which required the 400k in the bank etc.

As for now, I cannot go with that option because my 90 days is due in 2 days May 13.

I have reached out to the Thai embassy where I initially got my non immigrant O visa and they told me that i didn’t have to go out of the country to report my 90 days.

Needless to say, this situation got me really confused, I am trying to do everything possible to meet the rules and regulations but this seems like total none sense..

Did anyone ever have this kind of issue? Can anyone tell me What options I have ?

Thank you all so Much!

Question, I entered Thailand mid November on a Non O visa, my 90 day stamp is approaching. I usually do a U-turn at the Mukdahan/Laos border for my 90 day stamp. Can I still do that without any complications around re-entry? Are there any new requirements for re-entry at a land border?
