Hello all. I am relocating to Thailand in Aug(24) specifically and planned to get a Non O 90 days to start my yearly retirement visa (over 50).

I have just started the online visa today because I did not want to do it too early before my travels. When doing the application, I was not aware of me having to need 800k thb in my accounts back home for 3 months.

I have enough money in my accounts, I just need to move some around between my investment account, etc. Which I planned to do asap as well.

Is it possible to move the money in next day or so and will they accept it then?

Or can I not get the Non O this time and have to go in as exemption?

Then have to leave again to try the process again :/

Any help would be appreciated.
Answer summary
The user is preparing to relocate to Thailand and is applying for a Non-O visa for retirement. They need to have 800,000 THB in their bank account for 3 months before applying. The user is concerned about moving funds around to meet this requirement and seeks clarity on whether it's acceptable and what alternatives exist if they can't show the needed funds in time.

You can show 65,000 a month income for 3 months as an alternative. Be aware savings have to be in an actual savings account, investment accounts may not be accepted.

Just checking as you say you are moving the 800,000 Baht to an investment. You do know that to get the 12 month extension of stay at the end of the initial 90 days on a O-visa (retirement) you will need to have 800,000 Baht in a thai bank and it has to be there for 2 months before you can apply and that means that you have to transfer it to a thai bank within the first month. As I said I'm just checking that you understand the requirements of a 12 month extension of stay based on a retirement O-visa.

While you have to provide 3 months of bank statements normally only the last one has to show the 800k baht when applying for the 90 day Non-O visa outside of Thailand
