PTPA. Hello everyone, maybe someone can help me here. I worked here in the Thai Oil project (cfp) in a subcontractor Korean company under UJV,

UJV withdrew the project because it did not pay wages.

Now that I have been hired by a new company, our problem now is that the work permit of my previous company can not be canceled because there is no one authorised to sign the clearance, the two managing directors have both resigned. our company already has a case with the Thai labor office. Does anyone here know what other way to cancel my work permit even if there is no clearance from the previous company?

Thank you very much. I hope someone can help me here.

A friend of mine just resigned from a company and they don't end up in a good relationship. So, he needs to make sure he gets all the documents now before he cancels his work permit. If he asks later, there's a possibility he won't get any document from them. These are documents he has asked so far. Is there anything else he needs to ask? Please, help!

1. Resignation agreement

2. Payroll slips

3. Work Certificate

4. BIS50 (Withholding tax certificate)

I want to ask a question relating to work permits(sorry not visa-related), I need to change my permitted category of work in the work permit, but my employer says that I have to quit the job and restart to do it, is it true? is the change of the permitted category of work not allowed? Has anyone done this before while staying in the same company?

I recently went through some newspaper article stating that you are allowed to work in any category of work(which is not stated in the permitted category of work in the work permit) as long as it is not a prohibited category of work. Thanks in advance.

Edit—-

It is Blue book work permit.

Maid said she will need employment cancellation letter either from us or she will get it by herself when she gets new job.

But what i understand is new job = new work permit... why does she has to use this work permit to apply new job?

————————————-

Shall i keep Burmese maid work permit with my husband name as employer when she resign maid work?

Or she should keep it?

It valid until next year March and she said she has to keep it but my husband cancel her as employee with copy of her WP.

Is it so?

Hi Guys, I need help. I’ve just changed my employer. I’m still on my previous Non B which has an extension until November 2018. My WP with my previous employer expiring on 15th May. My previous employer is not giving me cancellation letter. How can I cancel my WP and Non B now by myself? I’ve 2 questions:

1) If I leave the country and come back with a tourist visa, will that automatically cancel my current Non B?

2) If I let my WP expire, will that automatically cancel it?

Please advise. I’d highly appreciate your help.
