Hi! Not for myself, but for a friend in a bit of a sticky situation:
My friend has worked for one month at a school and has now decided that for various reasons the school is not a good fit for her. She has found another job and wants to leave her current job without notice immediately, in order to leave the country and apply for a new non-b and WP3 for the new job.
She was under the impression she is on a probationary period at school where either party can terminate the contract at any time (up until 3 months, which she as not worked).
Her (current) school are now threatening to get her "blacklisted from immigration" (their literal words, I assume they mean the country) if she does not continue to work for them.
She is currently on a non-b (not extension), and was planning to have her work permit and visa cancelled tomorrow in order to leave on Thursday.
Is it possible for the school to get my friend blacklisted for quitting her job? The language of her contract is more ambiguous than originally thought but it does still state that there is a 3 month probationary period.
