I would like your advice I am on a non B teaching visa and would like to change to a Family visa I am not married but my partner and I have two children can I apply for a 60 day visa at first and then after a one year visa?
Answer summary
The user is currently on a Non-B teaching visa and wishes to switch to a Family visa despite not being legally married. The community advises that since the user is not married, they cannot apply for a Non-Imm-O Family visa directly. However, if the user has legal parenthood of the children (especially if they are half-Thai), they may explore applying for a Non-Imm-O Support-of-Thai-Child visa. Suggestions include initially applying for a 60-day visa to visit family, and exploring the possibility of registering as a father in Thailand if certain conditions are met. Legal rights and relationships with the children, as well as considerations for banking and residency, are highlighted as important factors in the transition.

Everything will depend on your status with regards the kids. Are you on their birth certificates. Do you have legal rights via the courts? How old are the kids?
Assuming you do have legal rights and that your actually on an extension of stay and not a visa the simplest would be to cancel the extension of stay based on work and immediately apply for an extension of stay based on your kids, assuming you meet all the criteria for that extension
Can take 60 days visit family first . If one off you child more than 5 yours can register in Amper as father do not need to going to court if child can confirm that you is his father. If have thai bank account can change but have to transfer money from bank outside Thailand.
you cannot apply for a Non-Imm-O Family visa or Non-Imm O Visit non-Thai family member visa, if you are not legally married. If your children are half Thai and you are their legal parent, you might get a 90-days Non-Imm-O Support-of-Thai-Child visa
