Hey,
Does anyone have recent experience of applying via RTE London for a Trailing Spouse to a OA Retirement husband?
On the RTE site it says, 'Evidence of adequate finance - An original bank statement which states bank contact information and equivalent amount of At least 400,000 Baht or equivalent) for the last 3 months.'
My question is can this be a Thai bank statement in my name rather than a statement in my wife's name?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the requirements for applying for a Trailing Spouse visa for someone with a Retirement Visa (OA) in Thailand. The main query is whether a Thai bank statement in the applicant's name can be submitted as evidence of adequate finances, as stipulated by the RTE London information, which mandates a statement showing at least 400,000 Baht or the equivalent. Commenters suggest the bank statement should ideally be in the spouse's name and highlight the importance of reviewing specific visa sections.
