(The consulate requires ask hospital / clinic / medical center to issue a letter confirming medical treatment appointment details)My doctor asked me how the content should be written, because he originally wrote the medical content or the time required in the doctor’s letter

Hi, has anyone gotten the DTV visa on the basis of the "soft power" options of seminars, courses or musical events? If so, could you let us know how you did it? Many thanks!

Hello all

My friend is trying to create an account on the Laos consulate website. He's getting an error over and over when trying to make an account.

This actually happened to me 6 months ago so I thought I would ask here as I fixed the problem by Googling it. Here's a pic for reference:

Hello everyone! First time posting and looking for some advice.

My wife and I hold a mexican passport, and we are currently on a Visa On Arrival Stamp in Bangkok. We are looking to extend our stay for at least 3 more months, so we considered traveling outside of Thailand for a few days or weeks even, and applying for a 60 days Visa with 30 days extension from outside Thailand.

Are there any countries you recommend us applying for the Tourist Visa from? I've heard Penang, Malaysia is a good place to apply from.

Also quick note, we arrived in Thailand on June on a Special Tourist Visa, renewed it once on August 18th, had a 7 day extension at the Immigration Division 1 Office at the end of November and exited Thailand on December 2nd to visit Vietnam. We are back in Thailand on the VOA stamp as I mentioned earlier.

Should I be worried that because of our long stay our tourist visa might be refused?

Thank you in advance for the time and help!

Edit: I should add that I am due to leave Thailand on January 2nd, which is when our VOA stamp expires.

Hi everyone,

I'm going to apply for a multi entry non o visa based on marriage in ho chi min city.

First of all, if someone can please confirm me that it has the same requirements of Savannaket (no found proof required).

Second :

on their website page the processing time is 2 working days, I expected 1day as usual.does that means if I deposit my passport on Wed morning they will give it back to me on Friday afternoon?

Third:

Will it be too risky to have my flight back to bkk at 16.55 on the pick up day?

never been there before, Google maps gives me only 20minutes ride from the consulate to the airport..

Thank you everyone for your help

Vientiane does not have any available times until April 12. I've heard there is another Thai Embassy in Laos that does not require an appointment. Is that true?

I see more and more questions asked like:

Will the Immigration Officer ask me..... what ever?

Will the Immigration Officer stamp me inside Thailand without questions?

Will the Immigration Officer allow me...... what ever?

Will the Immigration Officer give me a fine?

Will I get the visa at this Embassy/Consulate with my history?

Does the Embassy/Consulate staff really want to see?

Well, we do not know, so we just can not answer these questions. This page is set up to share knowledge and experience and most of the members are foreigners like yourself. We can give advice what to do, which documents are needed but we can simply not tell what the decision of the Immigration Officer or Embassy/Consulate staff will be.

We do not sit behind the desk wearing Immigration Uniforms at the Immigration Office or checkpoint or at a Thai Embassy/Consulate.

And so far I never seen a comment or reply of an Immigration Officer or Embassy/Consulate staff with the text: Visit on that day and I will help you or my friend will help you without any questions.

Please understand as written in the description of this page:

We can give advice, but be aware the last decision is always in the hands of Immigration Officer,

we cannot guarantee that the advice given will be 100 % successful to obtain the visa, extension of stay or entrance into Thailand.

Thanks.
