Question for DTV application in Vietnam.

Do I need to have a ticket for leaving Vietnam when applying, or is it enough to have only a ticket for entering the Vietnam ? Will I be allowed to enter with just an entry ticket?

Hello everyone. I just got the email from Thai embassy about requesting more documents. Here's the document they are asking. May I know what flight ticket they are mentioning? I already provided both entry and departure tickets in one PDF file.

* Travel booking confirmation: Please upload valid flight ticket Out of Thailand (from Thailand to other country), that showing applicant's full name and can be retrieved from the airline's website (showing Airlines Booking Ref/Airlines PNR Number).

I’d like to ask everyone:

1. After getting a DTV visa, will immigration officers or airline staff ask me to show a departure ticket?

2. If I stay longer than 30 or 90 days, do I need to apply for TM30 or TM90 at the Thai immigration office?

Thank you! Wishing everyone a smooth trip to Thailand or a hassle-free visa application process.

In a few days I will return to my home country AUSTRALIA to apply for ED Visa for Adv. Thai Lang. course.

I will be returning to Thailand flying from SYD-SIN-USM Samui.

- Do I require an airline ticket indicating departure from Thailand?

- Do I require proof of funds in cash (and how much)?

- Any other requirements/advice?

Background info:

- Australian passport

- Been in Thailand since Sep. 2017 (multiple TR and 1x ED visa)

Thank you in advance for any advice! 🙂🙏🏽

For Tourist Applying in Hanoi.

I just went today to apply for Visa and everything went well. For Tourist visa they need Bank statement, ticket to get out of Thailand and the fee for visa in $.

The embassy is currently in renovation so you need to go to the right side white building and it’s open at 8:30am. The releasing of passport is 4pm -5pm.

When you arrived here please use Grab and don’t take taxi. I was scammed by Vietnamese taxi driver in the airport so I learned my lesson now 🤦🏻‍♂️.

For Internet seems Viettel has a good offer for 4G.

Hope it helps.
