Hi, just wondering what documents you need to take to immigration to get your residency certificate in Jomtien?

Also wondering if you can do this in the afternoon, I know the Visa applications are cut off for the day if you don't get there by about 10:00 a.m.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a residency certificate in Jomtien, you typically need to provide your passport, visa, and relevant documents such as a rental contract, a copy of the house book, and the ID or passport of the property owner, with all copies signed. The TM30 registration is also crucial as it is linked to the residency certificate. It is advisable to go early, but it appears that there may be opportunities to apply in the afternoon, although visa applications usually have a morning cut-off time.

Do you actually have residence ( staying at 1 adress for more than 3 months rental agreement) or are you trying to pass through loopholes.

Why would that matter? They’re not applying in Bangkok so they can get one on any visa status, as long as they have a TM30 filed. Whether that’s from an hotel, an Airbnb or a long term rental contract makes not difference.

No loopholes, got several myself on visa exemptions and TM.30 from a hotel. Quite straightforward without greasing anyone. You don’t need a long stay visa to get a thai driverlicense, purchase a motorbike/car or open a bank account with an agent, but you’ll need a residence certificate.
