I am a US citizen trying to apply for Non-O Volunteer Visa from South Korea. I am applying through [members only]

It states: 7 . Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency.

What documents can I upload to verify my current residency if I don't live in South Korea? I am just visiting family here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster, a US citizen, is seeking advice on which documents to submit to verify their residency while applying for a Non-O Volunteer Visa for Thailand from South Korea. They are currently only visiting family and do not reside in South Korea. Responses from the community suggest checking with the Thai Embassy for specific residency requirements, as some embassies may restrict visa applications to residents only. It's also noted that obtaining a volunteer visa for Thailand has become increasingly difficult.

It's nearly impossible to get volunteer visa for Thailand since the crackdown.

South Korea uses the Evisa system.

Unless you have residency or long term leave to remain in South Korea, you cannot apply there for any visa whatsoever.

It's the same for any country using the E visa system.

No residency or long term leave to remain, you cannot use the system or apply in those countries

You need to contact the Thai Embassy in South Korea and ask if they allow non-residents to apply for visas. Some Thai embassies only allow residents of that country to apply for visas, and some only allow non-residents to apply for tourist visas but not long-term visas.

Something that proves you're legally in the country you're applying from?
