Answer summary
The user has lost their passport linked to their DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) and now possesses a new passport while currently outside Thailand. They are seeking guidance on the next steps to take upon re-entering Thailand. Community responses suggest bringing a printout of the DTV and any photos of the old passport to alleviate potential entry issues, as there might be discrepancies with different passport numbers. Experiences shared by others indicate mixed outcomes, with some having no problems while others recommend additional documentation for a smoother process.

Have you previously entered Thailand with the DTV? If yes then you should be fine entering with the new passport. Your biometrics are already on file together with the DTV.
You may have issues actually (or maybe not). So to be on safe side, bring photos with your older passport if you have any, because they may have trouble to let you in when they see two different passport numbers and one visa linked to the old one. I suppose it also depends on the IO, but I am travelling always with both, and they always asked me to see both. And yes, biometrics say you are the same person, but they see two different passport numbers and that troubles them somehow 🤷♀️
