Hello all. I am flying to Hanoi next month to apply for my workcation DTV and am looking to make sure I have all my ducks in a row.
I am a USA citizen. I am currently on the education visa that expires a week before I depart.
I am the owner of an LLC and have for a few years, which I will be using as my proof of income/contract.
A friend mentioned, who also is the owner of an LLC, that she needed her documents to say she is the 'president' specifically. I am currently in the process of getting that together.
A few questions:
1. What do I need to do about the education visa since it will expire after I leave? Do I need to cancel it?
2. Unless my friend mentioned about the 'president' title, I would not have known otherwise, so I am wondering if there's anything else I might need that isn't super clear on the evisa site
3. Just curious about the document proving my current location per the evisa site... is that about where I am staying in Vietnam?
I applied for my Thai evisa and a day later they wanted more documents which i submitted the final one being on the 14th of January and its still pending approval. 2015 and 2016 it was approved within 3 days, i am worried coz my departured is for the 8th of Feb. Is it still possible for them to approve before this departure date? I dont want to lose my money. Please help. Today the website gave me an error message 😢
Hi there! I wanted to ask if it’s possible to apply for the DTV Nomad Visa as a consultant. I work for a marketing firm as a consultant and wasn’t sure if that qualifies under the program. What sort of documentation are required from the company Also, is there a minimum monthly salary requirement, or do you just need to show a certain bank balance instead? Would really appreciate any clarity or guidance on this. Thanks in advance!

*Proof of Location in JKT - hotel confirmation and Boarding pass Bkk - JKT
*Payment of 10k THB online as Visa fees
That's all....

Interesting part : I submitted on Friday morning 9am 24th Jan. Monday was showing Pending approval. Tuesday 28th Jan was Approved at 5pm. And Monday was a Public holiday.
So actually it took ONLY 2 working days for me (Friday and Tuesday)
Question 1: How do I pay the DTV application fee when I apply on the eVisa website? I haven't started the application process yet, so I haven't seen the page that tells details about how to make the payment...
Question 2: During the online application, will I be asked to upload the returning ticket to Thailand and out of Thailand? TIA
Hey guys, just a quick question regarding the bank statement... I'm going to be sending 6 months of my Wise account (with the official Wise verification stamp and signature included), however the currency I have is RON (Romanian Lei). Will this be okay?
The statement is 100% in English, but the currency is not USD or EUR, it's RON.
500,000 Thai Baht is around 70,000 Romanian Lei. Shall I send an XE screenshot showing the conversion?
Hello! I’m planning to apply for a soft-power DTV via Kuala Lumpur embassy next month. Does anyone know what to do for this “required documentation”; I’m unemployed at the moment and haven’t had any income in the last 6 months.
Do they just want to see my bank statements or will this be a deal-breaker?
Hi, has anyone applied for DTV via the embassy in France? What documents are required to prove one is a remote worker, is employment contract sufficient or must it really state that one will continue to be renumerated during the duration of the visa (as the info on the embassy website seems to indicate)?
