What are the current bank statement requirements for applying for a DTV at the Thai consulate in Los Angeles?
Has anyone applied for the DTV through the California, Los Angeles consulate? Per their website instructions, only one monthly bank statement is required, showing a minimum of $17,000 ending balance. Is this an error? I read elsewhere three monthly statements are required?

OPDca Dca Yes, that has not changed on their current website. I did check the Washington DC embassy website, and their instructions require bank statements for the last three months. I guess LA has an easier requirement. I don't normally keep a $16,000 balance in my bank account, as it doesn't pay any interest.

I have applied for a different visa and they are really good at responding to email. Send them an email but don't ask if it's 3 months. Just ask if it's a 1 month statement. It takes less than a day for a response.
