I'm a DJ planning to play at some commercial and non commercial events in Thailand. Do I need to apply for any type of work visa? Even if I choose not be paid?

Thanks

NON-IMMIGRANT O VISA, DEPENDENT CHILD, UK.

Hello, I'm confused and needing advice because I cannot get confirmation from my employer atm.

I'm a teacher and am applying for the e-visa, Non-Imm B, from the UK. I have a 5yr old child who is coming with me. Do I apply for their Non-Imm O visa online beforehand? Is there a section to add their visa onto my profile? When I arrive my employer mentioned they'll need her birth certificate for something to do with my work permit. I'm just so confused at the moment. Thanks! 😊

How feasible is it to open a business with a Thai person, and then get an approved business visa within 6 months? I have been here since February. The best case scenario would be tom come back in August and do the same tourist visa process. Then my understanding is I can start the 4 month cycle over at the beginning of the calendar year? Whatever the case is, I am hoping to have the business sponsor me and be able to work here after. Thank you for any guidance. I am well aware of the risks of doing business here. It will be a relatively small investment.

So I am just reading on Thaiembassy.com Thailand-vis/Thailand-elite-easy-access-visa. The site states that this visa is perfect for singles, remote workers, etc.

It then goes on to say you cannot have a work permit.

What then is their definition of a remote worker?

If I work for my company in Thailand and I am only accessing European customers and getting paid as usual into a uk bank account am I classed as a remote worker?

I recently got my LTR visa (moving from Canada). Thanks to everyone who's helped me with my questions!

My next challenge is the Digital Work Permit (DWP). For those that got the LTR visa, did you go through with getting the DWP? Or is the LTR visa enough? Also what did you say when entering Thailand? Did you have to mention anything about working? Or can you say you're just visiting on vacation? Did you have to show your return flight ticket?

When I was trying to complete their form for DWP, it asks for the company number, but the company I work for is in Canada and it wasn't showing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks 🙏

Hello, looking to come to Thailand and do some remote work. But, I'm confused about Visas.

There are plenty of guys on YouTube, like this guy earning money in Thailand and even saying to use some sort of Education visa to do it. Is it the right path for me?

So, one of them is 'Dan the Man' or 'Just Dan' and he has videos saying to get an ED visa and then work in Thailand....I just don't know what do to. Is this right for me?

One-Time Import Exemption - Relocation

Moving from America to Chiang Mai soon. I will enter on a tourist visa, then apply for an extension of stay based on retirement.

I understand there is a one time import fee exemption for importing household goods - maybe 1/2 container.

I’m having trouble understanding if a work permit is required, which I obviously will not have. Can anyone clarify this? Has anyone done this and can comment on the experience?
