Is there a resume’ or additional personalised note submission for soft power applications? I am at step 4 at online submission. So far it did not ask me for justification but only asked for documents upload.

It would’ve been better for clarity if I could explain and justify my previous stays in Thailand and why I am switching to DTV

Answer summary

The submission for the soft power applications for a DTV currently does not explicitly require a resume or additional personalized note. However, it is advisable to include a brief cover letter that explains your previous stays in Thailand and your motivation for switching to the DTV. This cover letter can be combined with your DTV application documents into a single PDF for convenience. Additionally, it's suggested to express your appreciation for Thai traditions and acknowledge the legal limitations regarding work in Thailand.

Best to also say, I have a love of Thai traditions and happy to support this school and confirm I am fully aware of the laws that I cannot engage in any work whilst in Thailand unless I apply for a work permit (if applicable)

I’m assuming you are applying for a DTV under the soft option’s category

thanks. That was exactly my question. Where (at which screen on upload) to say if it is not giving me an option?

Include a very brief cover letter along with your DTV scheme documents and combine it all into a single PDF for upload
