I'm thinking about OPENING BUSINESS under my wife name and she grants me work visa so then I'll fulfill the citizenship requirements for 3 years working and paying taxes, if done for next 3 years ? Is it possible? As I'm a freelancer work remotely so can't fulfill this rule

Hi all,

I am not sure where to post this, so I hope someone in this group will be able to give me advice.

I want to register myself as a foreigner in the Thai company of my family. I know max. 49% shares can be owned and that is fine.

But I would like to validate a few things:

- If I am registered as shareholder in the Thai company, and I don't have a work permit, will this bring me any problems? We will not pay myself any salary.

- If I am registered as shareholder, and something happens within the company. Do I have any rights as a foreigner to claim my share?

- Any other advise that you would like to share with me?

FYI, my Visa is non-immigrant O (spouse), and spouse is the main shareholder of the co.ltd

Thanks in advance, hoping on constructive comments only 🙏🏽

So many conflicting options my head is spinning.

We are looking to move to samui full time.

I run and will continue to run a ltd business in the UK and that's where the money will come from to live in thailand.

There is myself (38) wife (35) and 2 children under 12

All uk passport holders

What is our best option?

I would ideally in the future like to open a thai Ltd business and invest in businesses there. But for the immediate future it will juat be longest possible visa without hopping borders,

Hi friends, I have a question, please can any one can help me qith the answer? My uncle wants to open a business in Thailand, so I contact a agent who helps with the making business there. But the problem is my uncle wants to open business under his name. So the agent said first I need to open a business license with tax file... then he can do anything with that license and file, as like he can open business under his license and can buy land under that license to make business building....

Is it true ?

Hello, I am a resident of Thailand 5 years ago, I have a company and set up a business and VISA work, on 11/8/2017 visa will expire, I went with the lawyer to immigration , after checking the document refused to renew the visa again,The reason for the refusal is that the accountant pays the staff and hospital insurance less than the required 300 baht . The lawyer called and asked the accountant She told her that each year she paid the same amount and there was no problem, I do not know if she was lying or did not know the required increase, the immigration asked me to go outside Thailand And get a nonB visa and return again, but I am a Syrian nationality and I can only get a visa from Lebanon and the embassy in Lebanon asked me about invitation from company to working in Thailand how will I get a work invitation , and from who , I have already business her , just want to know Can I get a work invitation from my Thai partner, and do this Call her a specific name, and must be certified by the Thai Foreign Affairs, thank you so much
