I teach on Preply and I have a student who is from Thailand.

Will that be an issue when I apply in Vietnam as I know you have to show that you are not claiming income from Thais?

Nearly all of my other students are from Europe!

Also, do you have to declare your most recent tax return?

EDIT - I was going to submit my earnings spreadsheet and it will say that my student is from Thailand

Hi, I'm retired and wanting to live in Thailand for a year starting in September.

I have 2 properties which bring in approximately 80k baht per month in rent... plus about 1 Mio baht cash.

I do want to give extra lessons online to only non-Thai clients. However, I will only be starting this now so I have no portfolio. Retirement visa vs. DTV? Any suggestions much appreciated.

I'm currently working full-time and have a work permit and visa but I am considering going full-time online with the DTV visa, is this possible? What would I need to do? Can I prove my work by using a, screenshot of my students, and a spreadsheet of my income etc?

Hi everyone,

Some questions about obtaining or transferring to a DTV visa. I recently left my job working in a Thai school to teach exclusively online and wish to obtain a DTV visa as a 'digital nomad'. I am currently staying in Thailand (with a registered address) on a tourist visa. What is the process for applying for a DTV visa; must one exit Thailand first to submit an application from a foreign country, and must the applicant stay in that country during the processing of the visa?

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Hi, i am a newbie to the group and also it is my first time on a non-immigrant O-A, which i got from Canada- few questions- i arrived here Sept 17 and at the airport they stamped me until May 1 2022, my visa says valid from July 29, 2021 until July 28 2022, so do i get 1 yr from July 29, 2021 or 1 yr from when i arrive here, and why did they stamp good until May 1 2022, i think they made a mistake, can i do 90 online reporting i have read it works for some but not others, i live very close to Korat Immigration, and finally can i change my visa to another one so i can teach online to Chinese students from our home. Sorry so many questions, thanks so much in advance, appreciate it very much.

Hi, my wife and I we've got married a year ago. I would like to become a permanent residence here in Thailand. Unfortunately I do not have 400K sitting in my bank account. A friend of mine told me that there are agencies to help with this but sounds a bit off... What do you guys suggest? Thank you
