Will having a Thai student affect my income declaration when applying in Vietnam?

I teach on Preply and I have a student who is from Thailand.

Will that be an issue when I apply in Vietnam as I know you have to show that you are not claiming income from Thais?

Nearly all of my other students are from Europe!

Also, do you have to declare your most recent tax return?

EDIT - I was going to submit my earnings spreadsheet and it will say that my student is from Thailand

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is concerned about the implications of having a Thai student while applying for a visa in Vietnam, specifically regarding income claims from Thai nationals. Community responses suggest not to disclose the Thai student when applying, as the regulations may prohibit teaching Thai students under certain visa conditions. There is also a query about the necessity of declaring the most recent tax return.

You can't teach a Thai student while on the DTV. If you only have one explain the situation and tell him you have to stop, then get him to write a letter confirming you no longer teach them

Just say you work online for Preply, which by the way, is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. Don't mention anything about the Thai student.
