Hi, hope all is well. Looking for some advice please. Came into Thailand on a three month non immigrant o visa based on marriage. Which expires 02nd January 2024. I already have a flight booked from Bangkok to UK but on 1st February, as I thought immigration at ROI ET would let me extend 30 days. However, they say go to Laos and exit Thailand then come back in on a 30 day visa. But what actually are my options please? Then I am clear what I need to do to? Thanks very much

Hello everyone!

Just coming back from CW with my 2 months covid extension(there is no under consideration stamp this time). Officer told me and my wife that i already got many extensions. For that reason, I can't get covid extension again and i need to get 1 year marriage visa (showing 400K baht in bank accaunt) or i need to leave the country before my extension ends and re enter with another visa. Is there anyone has been told same thing?

Andy Toffo Hello all,

If you have a 60 day, visit Thai family extension of a Retirement Visa, would you be able to return to a Retirement Visa after the extension finishes, assuming you meet all the immigration requirements?

Hi All, I normally come in on an O marriage visa. As I work offshore I’ve never had to go beyond 3 months due to work contracts.

I’m back in Thailand now, on a 90 day marriage visa and will want to extend. As my work contracts don’t start again till 2021.

I heard I could get a further 60 days added to my current visa?

Or do I wait and apply for another 90 days later down the line?

Any help greatly appreciated 👍

Hey guys, I just want to share my recent experience with MTT immigration and its process.

I got my 60 days Family visiting extension. Here’s how to go about it. You need to bring your wife down to MTT counter K (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY) and prepare the documents. Marriage certificate (mine is overseas registered, so I need to bring for embassy to certify true copy, and bring it to translation and finally ministry of foreign affair Thailand to have a stamp.) it will do you good for 6 validity duration.

Copy your passport, your last immigration stamp, marriage certificate (as mentioned above) your wife, and 3 application form (can be obtain at counter K your photo and prepare 1,900 baht. Fast process... complete within 15 mins.

So just to highlight, technically you must have KOR ROR 22. This certificate can only be obtain in your spouse or your district office (Tai Bian Baan)

But the immigration gave chance to me and took in my application without kor ror 22.

I hope this helps others in the same situation as me understand how and what can be done.

Thank you admins and good luck to others

Someone asked me for the link to the appointment booking in MTT immigration in BKK.
