Hi all. I'm about to submit my application for my 1 year extension based on marriage at Chaengwattana but I'm going the income route this time.
My HR has requested some docs too late and I'm concerned about the timeline here.
Worst case can I use a 60 day visit family extension to buy myself a bit more time to get this done?
Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the timeline and options for applying for a one-year extension based on marriage in Thailand after encountering delays with required documents. They are considering using a 60-day family visit extension for additional time. Responses confirm that applying for a new extension can occur until the current visa runs out, and that the 60-day family extension can be processed at the same office.
You can apply for a new extension right up to the day your current stamp runs out
AND
if you're already on a year extension and just applying for another one you'd get the 60 day visit thai family extension at the same section at Chaengwattana where you'd apply for the year extension (Section L-1)
You say "this time" so that suggests to me that you are switching methods and applying for a new Extension of Stay based on marriage not a Non-O Visa. Is that correct?
