From ED-VISA to Covid Extension.

Went on Thursday morning and canceled my current ED Visa extension and directly applied for the Covid one. Everything easy and relaxed.

In the immigration at the Airport everyone is getting right now the stamp under consideration, so I have to go again on the 11/03.

Closed the loop today at MTT.

Was stamped til 26th which is 60 days from the date I went in (even though I’ve read people being stamped in until 29th).

They didn’t ask to see my online booking.

It was super quiet and I was in and out in under 10 minutes.

If you are coming out here today the traffic is shocking as is the air quality!

Hi People, Just letting the group know I just got a SETV in Vientiane, applied on a Tuesday and got there 8am, was number 044 and form taken off me at 9.10am, they gave me back my bank balance & onwards flights print outs back to me, I had just incase things had changed, they only wanted Laos stamp in, Laos visa and passport copies, went back today 1.30pm to pick up and had it back with me by 1.45pm, a very good service and thank you everyone who gave great advice before I applied....Much appreciated...

Hi all. So I'm making a big plan to travel across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia. I'm pretty sure I'm going to want an eSim. Anyone got any recommendations? Calls and texts are not really needed , the priority is data and lots of it! Ideally with 5G too but that's not essential. Cheers 👍

My boyfriend’s arrival date is 17 Jan, arrive at 12:10 hr BKK. He’s coming under Test and Go which was approved before the suspension. I know that flight can be postponed but not more than 72 hours after the original flight. Due to personal reason, he has to change his flight to 20 Jan instead with the same flight number. But his flight on 20 Jan(EY406) will do stop over in Phuket for 1:30 hrs which makes his arrival in BKK 13:10 hr. That makes 73 hrs after the original flight even though he will arrive in Phuket at 10:10 hr. I called ThailandPass call center, but he cannot confirm that this is acceptable or not. He said that the it depends on the immigration officer at the airport or the department of disease control’s staff. Anyone had this similar problem? Please kindly share 😢 Thank you in advance.

Hello :-) I am just wondering if anybody here has had experience with travelling into Thailand on an Emergency Travel Document? I had my passport stolen in Bali, been to the British Consulate here to get my EDT, and plan to fly back to Thailand on 30th. Usually your EDT is to get you back to your home country, unless you have proof of residence elsewhere. I have my work permit and hope this is enough? Nobody seems to really know the answer. I am hoping somebody else has done this and can advise me? I just need to get a 30 day stamp in which time I can sort a new passport from UK embassy in BKK and plan a visa run for my new non-B!

I am Canadian. Is it even worth getting a METV now that there is the 60 day Visa Exemption ?

Just came back from MTT for a 90 day report... done in 25 minutes... no copies... no pasfoto..in and out.... next time I can do it online....just FYI was fast today
