I have a tourist visa running out may 11

My US passport has only 2 pages left

I have a new teaching job offer to start May 13

Can I apply to renew my passport before i do a visa run, so process is under way when i return to begin work visa process with new school?

Or will i be unable to use my current passport to do a visa run if I apply for renewal?

Not sure how this works with school either. I am confused!!! Hope I outlined this clearly. What is best way to proceed..?

I'm preparing for my first 90 day report in Bangkok on a DTV.

The official website lists the following documentation for an in-person report:

1. Passport

2. Departure TM.6 card (TM.6)

3. Notification of staying over 90 days (in case of having already notified of staying over 90 days)

4. Fill in details in TM.47 form and sign your name

I don't have a TM.6 (I understand they may have been stopped years ago?). I also understand the TM.6 has more recently been replaced by the TDAC but I don't have one of those yet either. Can I just ignore this section?

Secondly, for my first 90 day report can I do it in person at the new One Bangkok office (I understand the Chamchuri Square office has closed, although it is still listed on the official website).

hello my grandson, after submitting his visa application at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Laos, was called for an interview today from 10am to 10:30am for validation. Unfortunately he missed his flight... How can we contact the embassy We do not find on the website the possibility to leave a message, the phone numbers found on the internet do not respond and the email sent still found on the internet are not correct.

Can he run without an appointment? Thank you in advance for your help

Hello, my son of 1.5 years old got an overstay stamp when leaving Thailand. It is the first time he got it. I thought he can overstay his stay as a child below 15 years old without any overstay stamps. Previously border officers didn't stamp his passport at all, so I am concerned he can have some problems to enter Thailand or get a visa in the future. What do you think?

So having been stopped at immigration last time I visited and advised to get a proper visa I am now in the process of applying for and SETV. Every photo I upload seems to have an issue although you can clearly see who I am it appears to be the background that's the issue is this likely to cause me a problem as I don't have any clearer photos? It requires flight details even though a visa has not been issued so do I book a flight and take a chance that I might be refused? It asks for accommodation details although my plans are fluid you cannot just put a one night stay in an hotel as it requires you to advise of all your intended stays for the duration of your intended stay which is 41 days in my case. Your advice is greatly appreciated TIA

QUESTION ABOUT THE DTV :

Do I strictly have to apply for it at the Thai Embassy of my home country or can I also do that at an Embassy in one of the surrounding countries near to Thailand.

I m asking because I m living in Thailand for 5 years now , until now with a workpermit / visa , working for a Thai company.

Now I want to switch, working for a Foreign company online
