Immigration at the border just needs proof of the cancelled/ delayed flight and then they don't charge for the overstay.

I had nearly 1 week overstay and it was no problem

I just went to Immigration, requesting 7 days extension.

No problem, they understand the situation

But tomorrow is a buddha day, so only Wednesday possible again
