hello my grandson, after submitting his visa application at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane, Laos, was called for an interview today from 10am to 10:30am for validation. Unfortunately he missed his flight... How can we contact the embassy We do not find on the website the possibility to leave a message, the phone numbers found on the internet do not respond and the email sent still found on the internet are not correct.

Can he run without an appointment? Thank you in advance for your help

Bonjour mon petit-fils, après avoir déposé sa demande de visa à l'ambassade de Thaïlande à Vientiane (Laos) était convoqué à un entretien aujourd'hui de 10h à 10h30 pour validation. Hélas, il a raté son vol... Comment pouvons nous contacter l'ambassade. Nous ne trouvons pas sur le site internet de possibilité de laisser un message, les numéros de téléphone trouvé sur internet ne répondent pas et l'envoi d'email trouvée toujours sur internet ne sont pas correctes.

Peut il se présenter sans avoir de rendez-vous ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide

Well if he had got to the interview they would have gone through his passport and found the entry/exit stamps. I think his application is kaput

He wasn’t suppose to leave Laos while the visa is being processed. Therefore, he is out of luck. He can not use the missing flight excuse, as it will directly inform them he didn’t follow the rules. Furthermore, how does one miss their flight?

Unfortunately he will have to start the process from scratch. I had my interview in Laos I forgot to ask a question that I considered important and went back to ask if I could see the Immigration Officer again. I was told NO in no uncertain terms and shown the door. This was basically 2 mins after I just spoke to this person. So to answer your question if he can just go that would be a big NO. I needed a document notarized by my country and they gave me a 6 month visa instead and told me to reapply when my docs are sorted 😂 Oh and no refund of my fees.

Do you mean he will miss his flight out of Laos? If he doesn't attend the interview he won't get his visa so should reschedule his flight.

If he's already left Laos and was trying to fly back for his interview it's very unlikely he'll get the visa anyway as he should have remained in Laos while his application was being processed.
