I am on a 1-year Ed-visa currently which will be expired in August. I am preparing to apply for DTV in Cambodia. I am aware that I have to cancel my Ed-visa.

1) Can I do it after my DTV is approved and when I am back in Thailand?

2) If I must do it before I apply for DTV but decide not to and do it only after my DTV is approved, are there any consequences?

Hi All, I'm on a Non O Retirement visa extension out of Chiang Mai. I'm thinking of moving to Pattaya. Can I do my next annual extension down there, or do I have to start afresh with a totally new Visa from there?

3 years ago, my girlfriend overstayed her tourist stay by quite a while. She was not permitted to re-enter Thailand again for 2 years and had to pay a hefty fine. She paid it and that re-entry has passed (we actually entered Thailand together on our regular tourist visa's since).

Will this history affect her eligibility for the DTV? I emailed the embassy but they're taking an awfully long time to get back to me.

Anyone here have that history and still got approved?

Im applying from Dubai.

I got a new passport, the DTV is on my old passport (it's the old DTV, with a sticker on the passport, not a digital one).

Question: Do I need to go to the Thai embassy to move the visa to my new passport or can I do it in BKK airport when I land?

For the first 90 day report I know I should go to immigration rather than attempt it online. I need my passport, photocopy of info page, photocopy of visa and tm 47 form. Anything else? Thanks all

Currently looking at the wall fitness MT, which is 1 class a week for 18k for the 6 months, seems like a good service but not so competitive on price.

Going to apply for DTV Soft Power in Australia.

I have a joint account with my wife (who is not applying) but with a few times the required 500,000 baht.

Problem I see is they require 3 months of bank statement and if the joint account is rejected then I have to get a new bank account and wait 3 months of bank statements in my name only.

I've emailed the Sydney embassy but no reply.

Anyone have success using a joint in Australia please?

When you convert a visa exempt entry to non o retirement visa, in country. Is the non o a new visa, giving the full 3 months?
