Is there some consensus on how long funds need to have been seasoned when applying with Jakarta? And does the account need to have any specific activity to be accepted, like daily expenses or regular deposits? Was anyone ever rejected with Jakarta that actually had 500k THB in their account as ending balance?

I'm in Bangkok with a 3 month Non-O visa wanting to extend for retirement. I was getting my documents together and then checked the web and there is no mention of proof of condo rental or health insurance. What am I missing here?

Passport question: I will come to Hua Hin September 8th with a 90 day Non-Immigrant O Visa. Early December I will go to Immigration in Hua Hin to apply for a 1 year Non Immigrant O visa. I plan to leave Thailand early April 2026. However, my passport will expire July 17th 2026. Will this cause a problem, when I apply for the One year Non O Visa at Immigration in Hua Hin in December?

Edit: People who have real documents but want to try by themselves. Please read this. I went to embassy and learnt 500k should be in account for 3 months or should be stable. Not ok with ending balance 500k even though it is your real money.

I have just got rejected mail in Hanoi. I believe I attached every documents. I have sent the clarification email and am waiting for the reply.

1. Myanmar Nationality

2. Australia based company

3. Submitted company registration, employment contract, remote permission, Company profile, resume, portfolio link, cover letter indicating that I am not working for Thailand company, payslips 3 months, Wise transfer email, Company website.

4. Vietnam Entry Stamp, Hotel booking

5. Bank statement 6 months with Ending balance 500k

I’m currently on a work permit and want to move to DTV as I’m not working anymore.

✨I am leaving Thailand on 15/7

✨My work visa ends 1/9 even though my business has another year.

✨I come back via Bangkok 29/9

I plan to go to apply for a DTV in a neighbouring country in October.

My question is - will I have problems entering the country on 29/9?

Can I enter as a tourist?

Will I have problems?

If I stay at the same place can I use the same TM30 as from before I left the country and got DTV and came back?

Hi everyone. Quick question for anyone that has done it this way. As I know in Dubai it was possible, but not sure in south east Asia.

Applying for a DTV the freelancer route, can my father be my sponsor and show proof of his funds in addition to my funds so it makes it to 500K? We will show his passport copy and everything that links them to me. I am over 28, so not sure this only applies to under 20s.
