My kasikorn ATM limit has been reduced from 50k to 20k per day.

I've been into branch but they couldn't increase it via the app, even after doing facial recognition etc. K bank call center says it's a new policy, they also said it's capped at 20k and can't be increased.

Has anyone else encountered this with Kasikorn?

As bob Dylan once said " the times they are a changing" two phone calls from Bangkok Bank today looking for Mr Tony, I'm clearly not Mr Tony then later on that day yet another phone call this time with the correct name. The reason for the phone calls, were to kindly ask me to attend the bank with my yellow book drivers licence and pink I'd card, to update my account details. This is surely a better approach than suspending accounts without any warning. Which begs the question, is a yellow book and I'd card the new rule of the week? It appears so.

If the embassy decides to give a 6 month visa instead of 5 year DTV cuz they seem it's a better fit for the person, shouldn't they basically refund the rest of the fees cuz that's what they will tag it as in the government portal?

Any updates on Bangkok Bank? Anyone successfully get their account unfrozen? I’m still dumbfounded, it’s almost been a month and ZERO updates. No one’s talking about it, no official statement from the bank, this is insanity.

Hi all, this one’s for folks who have acquired their DTV via an agency. Once approved was the DTV E-visa sent to your agencies person of contact email id and then forwarded to you by them? Or did you receive it on your personal email id directly from the embassy.

If someone could relay their DTV experience in applying with an agency and getting it done successfully, it would be super helpful to know the precise steps and order it went for you.

For the application, do you have to submit hotel booking for your stay in Thailand under dtv? What if you plan to stay the first few days in a hotel while searching for a condo to rent?

Are you less likely to successfully get a DTV visa if you apply for it in Asia instead of your home country?

I will be applying for the Non O retirement visa from Ireland. I know that gives me 90 days when I get to Thailand to apply for 1 year extension.

Is there a timescale on the non O.

I am planning on retiring next April.
