What are the options for unfreezing Bangkok Bank accounts and closing them if necessary?

Any updates on Bangkok Bank? Anyone successfully get their account unfrozen? I’m still dumbfounded, it’s almost been a month and ZERO updates. No one’s talking about it, no official statement from the bank, this is insanity.

Are they allowing you to close the account and withdrawal your money? What are the options here because this is getting ridiculous

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the frustration of expats whose accounts at Bangkok Bank have been frozen without clear communication from the bank. Several commenters discuss their experiences, with one sharing that they successfully had their account unfrozen by providing a receipt confirming their details. Others express concerns over the slow processing of account reviews, with reports of limited bank staff available to handle the situation. The discussions also touch upon the option to close accounts if the issues persist.

Anonymous participant 981 yes it has happened to me and resolved with a couple of visits. The context on how this was written was done in a way to create an emotional reaction and through the use of an anonymous user is what makes it seem not genuine.
