Why has my Kasikorn ATM withdrawal limit been reduced, and has anyone else experienced this?

My kasikorn ATM limit has been reduced from 50k to 20k per day.

I've been into branch but they couldn't increase it via the app, even after doing facial recognition etc. K bank call center says it's a new policy, they also said it's capped at 20k and can't be increased.

Has anyone else encountered this with Kasikorn?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reports that their Kasikorn ATM withdrawal limit has been reduced from 50,000 to 20,000 THB and mentions difficulties in reversing this change despite attempts at the branch and via facial recognition. Comments from other users indicate varying experiences with ATM limits, with some stating they still have higher limits or have encountered different maximums. There is a broader discussion about banks shifting towards cashless transactions and recent reports on cash withdrawal limits imposed by the Bank of Thailand.

30k max. Just bring the vintage retro bank book and passport to the bank counter and they can withdraw from your account and deposit into the account that you want to deposit. They are nice and kind, will help you fill up the forms etc.

I'm talking about atm withdrawals. If you want money over the counter you need passport and at least 1 hour of your life.
Ning ******
@Brian ********
max is 30,000 withdrawal or transfer. It took me less than a min today.

took me 1 hour in bank and definitely 20k. There may be different levels of debit card but both the branch and call centre have confirmed mine is capped at 20k. I Got 50k over the counter by showing passport. If I try 30k at ATM it tells me 20k per day only
Jonny *******
Per withdrawal or per day ?

Have you tried changing it to more than 50,000 lately? Mine changed to a limit of 50,000 without even telling me.
