# DTV (Workation) Approved in 5 Days šŸ‡øšŸ‡¬

Nationality: Singapore

Everyone told me *not* to apply for my visa in Singapore because of the high rejection rate. But I decided to go ahead since I already had all the required documents on hand.

For context, I work remotely for a Singapore-registered company, so it was easy to retrieve documents like the official business profile (ACRA), letter from employer, and payslips (which matched the credited salary in my bank statements).

## Overall Experience

The process was *much smoother* than I expected. Many friends advised against applying in Singapore due to stricter requirements and high rejection rate.

I initially contacted a visa agency to help me but they discouraged applying here (recommended Vietnam and Indonesia) and warned there would be no money-back guarantee for applications processes in Singapore if rejected.

I went ahead independently since I had all my documents ready and it turned out fine.

If you’re thinking of applying in Singapore, my advice is: be extremely meticulous. Double-check every requirement, ensure all files are clear and complete, and don’t give them any reason to reject your application.

Huge thanks to everyone for contributing in this group. Your posts really helped me prepare my documents. I read through so many threads to make sure I knew what I was doing. šŸ™

All the best, and good luck to everyone applying!

Hi, I applied for my 90-day report online, but it was rejected one day before the due date. I then went to immigration, and they told me to transfer my visa from my old passport to my new one first (since I had recently renewed my passport). It took me two days to complete all the required documents because I also needed a letter from my embassy. Yesterday, I finally went to transfer my visa, and I asked the 90-day counter to give me a token — even if it was the last one — so I could complete my 90-day report after the visa transfer. However, they told me to finish the transfer process first. I completed it around 5:30 p.m. Now my question is: will I be fined since it’s already been five days past the 90-day reporting deadline?

Although at Suvarnabhumi Airport Immigration it stated for you to prepare documents, passport Visa boarding pass and TDAC.

I presented the first three, and the TDAC was never asked for, I had my phone out in preparation.

,I received 41.9 Thai baht to GBP, all three kiosks were the same.

So Super Rich is no better than the others, and next time I will consider transferring all my spending money by wise, and not bring some cash to transfer.

or I will take some Thai Baht home for my next visit, just to get me through to my home in Korat.

I'm sure I saw 42.2 buying and 39.1 selling, but on checking my receipt it was 41.9.

I have edited my original post

I understand that the 90 day reporting must be done in person for the very first time, however, in my situation I travel outside of Thailand every couple of months which resets my 90 days and therefore I will never have to go to immigration to report in person. Any issues with this, i.e. never completing the first reporting at an immigration office in person? TIA

Please could someone advise how to apply for a new British passport, with out having to go to Bangkok as we live in Issarn. Also would you need to go to the immigration to transfere any valid extensions, from your old passport to your new one, and when would be the best time scale to apply for new passport, before your old one expires.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! I first entered Thailand on August 31st on my DTV visa, and I’ll be leaving on December 1st after using it for 3 months. I plan to re-enter in January on the same type of visa (for my Soft Power Muay Thai training).

Can anyone please tell me what the requirements are when I re-enter?

• Do I need to show proof of accommodation and other documents again,

or can I just enter without any problem since it’s the same visa type?

Would really appreciate any advice or recent experiences — thank you! šŸ™šŸ‡¹šŸ‡

My husbands DTV visa application rejected with no reason provided.

DTV ( e-commerce business owner ) Application Rejected

We are going to start new application, but before we want to find out what should be a problem here.

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping to get some advice from this community.

We came firstly to Thailand in September 12, after month a vacation my husband flew to Hot Chi Min, Vietnam and started the application.

22 October started application -

He is citizen of Belgium (Born in Kazakhstan), but last three years we were living in Netherlands and all his statements from Netherlands.

He gave papers that proves that he is owning company. In Dutch and English.

Bank statement 3 months and so on…

Afterwards they asked for an extra documents:

- financial statement’s for 6 months : *but he gave only for one month*

- submit a photo of every page of his passport

- and an brief where he was describing how he is working remote. *now im thinking maybe this mail was too dry and official, maybe he has to describe that Thailand is a perfect destination for making business and developing… and so on.*

My husband also works as a remote worker for a dutch company, but because we are not sure that the company will give an officially that he can be in Thailand we didn’t mentioned this income.

Afterwards it was pending approval for last 2 days.

Today he received Visa application was rejected.

We were traveling in Thailand once year ago. That’s why no visa runs on passport was shown.

So far, no explanation was given for the rejection, and we are trying to understand whether:

1. Anyone has had a similar experience applying in Vietnam?

2. Can it be that the application was rejected because we already in Thailand and didn’t went to immigration office before application. We have been here as tourists so far.

3. The second is maybe because he gave only one month financial statement is the real reason for the rejection???

4. It’s worth reapplying there or trying another consulate?

Any insights, experiences, or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you so much
