I am a US Passport holder - This is my visa path for me and my family. I’m looking to confirm if I understand this correctly as far as extensions, etc.

-Enter from US on 30 Day Exempt + 30 Day Extension

-Then apply for 60-Day Tourist Visa then extend for 30 Days

- Border Run to Vietnam for a week- come back on another 60 day tourist visa + extend for 30 days

-Then apply for 1yr student visa.

-After 1yr Student visa, leave to KL for 1 week then enter on US visa 30 day exempt and start the process back all over again if we decide to stay….

Thanks for your help! I get so confused! 😀

Good Afternoon; I normally do my 90 day report on-line with no problems, however for the first time I left Thailand and re-entered on 12th Dec 2023, so have tried now 3 times to file now with rejected message: 'Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom/ Incorrect visa expiration date.'

I've read someone say that on re-entering you have to file the first report in person again? Is this correct? Thankyou for any info.🙏

I have searched high and low and can't find answers. With 400k in the bank, can a South African married to a Thai get a one year multiple entry from Laos (Vientiane) If no, is it possible in SA (Pretoria)?

There are a number of threads and posts about this with form TM30. And it seems that there is some confusion about this.

There are probably many foreigners in Thailand who don't know the law has been changed during the pandemic. Now the host no longer has to report the address of foreigners twice if they return to the same address. Something that for us permanent residents makes life in Thailand little bit easier if we leave Thailand for a few days or months.

Hi, I’m planning on going to bangkok on a 30 day exemption + 30 day extension. I will be staying at a hotel for the first few days. Can I use the TM30 I get from there to apply for the extension? Or do I need to show them information about where I’m staying for the whole 60 days?

Thanks

I have a non-O retirement visa, and have been purchasing the minimum health insurance required to renew my visa each year. I am hearing from others with same visa type that my health insurance from the USA can be used to meet that requirement. Is this true, and if it is, what documents are needed to show proof of insurance?
