Quick ask. For a time I've been doing 90 Day reporting online. It appears to be working OK now. I've not, though, been leaving Thailand since COVID, but that is now changing, so the need to report changes dates with reporting at the airport coming into play through one's new TM6. Has anybody any experience whether or not the online calls to report are adjusting correctly? Which seems particularly unlikely given that TM6 still seems to be in abeyance!!

Didn't receive a stamp on arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport? Feelings of panic set in as I scanned the last four over five pages of my passport in a taxi heading to Hua Hin. An unusually friendly immigration official welcomed my returned to Thailand, laughing when he said you will need to go to immigration again. I asked my taxi driver to change the destination from my condo to Hua Hin immigration and sort out this mess. In the back of my very tired mind I'm thinking arrest and deportation, due to my using covid extentions on my previous trips. Then I remembered Tod Daniels an expert in these matters and massaged him. He quickly replied with an unusually blunt reply "I don't believe you at all. Sorry it's a tiny red entry stamp and you don't get into the country without it. You don't receive a TM6 departure card anymore, but you definitely got stamped in."

In my panicked state of mind sent Tod a picture of the last page of my passport. Then calmed down a little. I scanned every page of my passport starting at the first page. I knew it wasn't in the last 5 pages and had nothing to lose looking over the many years of stamps. There it was 7 pages from the end. Feeling like a complete idiot immediately messaged Tod the super news and he replied "imagine that"! I would have given him a big hug if he was there.

It seems in recent years Thai immigration has changed their stamping policy of wasting page after page of our passports and now there looking for and filling in any open spots they can find. Good on them for doing this. I hope one day your truly rewarded for the service your providing travelers to the land of smiles. Thanks again Tod your a diamond!

I'm currently in Vietnam and plan on getting a 60 day Thai tourism visa. I've already spent 10+ months in Thailand and have a passport full of Covid extensions. I've heard that immigration can be quite difficult at BKK Airport for people that have already been in Thailand for a good amount of time on the visa exempt stamp / Covid visa. My question is, does that worry still exist if I already have obtained the tourism visa from the Thai consulate?

Short Update about my Border Bounce @ Padang Besar today. I stay 2 Nights before i went back. My Passport has one VOA and 6 Covid Extensions. And yes it was not easy. I had to explain everything. A lot of discussions with the IM officer about what i do where i stay bla bla bla. After 30min got my 45 Day Stamp. She ask me if i extend this VOA i said yes but no problem. The IM Officer wasnโ€˜t relaxed at all. its looks like a little game. But be prepared. Good Luck โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™

โ€œRelaxโ€

I see a lot of trouble here. Sure, i have a reason why i choosed this way. And yes i know i have to move to the correct Visa Type and i will do. I guess a lot of people need to go this way because somthing in your live forces you to aceppt a challenge.

Anyway, this way was the fundamental start to get to where i am now. ๐Ÿ™

Tod Daniels Currently on a single entry tourist visa which I was going to extend and then switch to a Non O (welcome advice from yourself, thank you), however, I need to leave the country for a couple of weeks now to deal with something which coincides with my 60 day expiring. I'm still sorting out my finances before I can apply for the Non O.

Can I apply for another single entry tourist visa during the two weeks I'm away, then return on it and start again or is there a time limit required before I can reapply?

I spent Dec-April in Thailand on covid extensions. Plan to return November (from Uk) for 30-40 days, leave for two weeks to Sri Lanka and then come back again (via air) visa exempt for 45+30 days. Do you think there is any risk of being turned away for too much time in a year? thank you ๐Ÿ™

I've been here from UK since April last year. Covid extensions have been my way of staying here. Now they have stopped. My visa runs out on 22 September. My friend flies in on October and leaves October 22. I wanted to fly back to the uk with him on 22 October. Any advice as to the best way to do this, do you see foresee a problem going to Cambodians land border and bank (slightly worried they may have an issue with ongoing the 2 month C19 extensions. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, quite a complicated one here.

Having left Thailand with my 2 year old son in June i was interviewed quite firmly at the airport, with the childs mum being called and having to photograph and send over documents (even though he was leaving on a British passport), before they would let me on the flight. It was a fairly intense situatiom an they also put a note in his Thai passport that i intended to return in September.

I now intend to return (with my son) in October. Having read Todds sticky im fairly concerned about what will happen at the airport as i did stay in a Thailand on covid extensions from March 2020 until June 2022 to take care of my son.

My original plan for October was to arrive on Visa exempt (45 days), get the obligatory 30 day extension, then get a further 30 days based on having a thai child, giving me a total of 105 days and returning to the UK (with my son) mid January.

My original query was to ask is it acceptable to book our return flights for January or do i need to show that i have an intention to leave within 45 days?

But now im also concerned that (a) they might possibly deny me entry due to previous covid extensions? (b) The note in my sons passport says I will return in September when in fact it will be October.

Will the fact i have my half Thai son with me, help / hinder or have no impact on my entry in to the Kingdom? Is it at all conceivable they could seperate me from my son?

Thanks in advance.

My husband is Brasilien and gets a Visa on Arrival for 90 days, they told us he can extend the visa for another 90 days. Is that true? Is it a one-time extension? Does anybody have experience with it? I just know the 30 days for me as a European. Please only answer if you really know or you have done it! Thank you so much!
