I know that this topic has been discussed at length over the last 2 or 3 days but I have spent the last two sorting out with Wise how to get future transfers tagged as international. The information I have got could still be of use to people who rely on this for their visa extensions. I have posted it elsewhere but it has got lost in very long threads.

I contacted Wise and asked why the option long term stay had been removed. I got my Bangkok bank account tagged by supplying its details to Wise. I was then given the following information about how to get transfers tagged international. I tried three transfers two of which have only just appeared in my account. I hope this post gives some relief to people who are concerned..

We will enter on DTV and the kids on visa exemption 60 days.

Do we need to show proof of flight out the country with Singapore Airlines?

After the 60 days visa exemption can I get a 30 days visa for extended stay total 90 days? Can I then go to Malaysia and back to Thailand and get a new 60 days visa exemption and a new 30 days visa for extended to new total of 90 days stay?

How can I get a Performer’s / actors “O” type visa?

Long story short.

I am a successful touring DJ , singer, and music producer (played major festivals with Snoop Dogg, SEVENTEEN, etc) actress (commercials only) , and content creator.

I am not SAG-AFRA. But I’ve booked major TV commercials.

I know in Japan for example, there’s companies like GxPlus , Halo Live, etc who sponsor foreign entertainers and YouTubers for the explicit purpose of promoting Japan soft power and allowing them to work with Japanese brands etc.

I’m guessing there are similar companies here, as I have seen foreigners in ads, commercials, and obviously DJing etc.

I have a large Asian and western following with many media articles about me to prove this for immigration sake (I know many countries ask for media coverage)

Anyways does this sound plausible?

I don’t care about the actual earning potential in baht because I still earn passively from my US / Canadian work.

Deciding whether to apply for DTV under Muay Thai or a cooking class. For Muay Thai I've been in contact with Tiger Eye gym in Bangkok and they seem responsible and professional. For cooking I'm looking at Bangkok Cooking Academy, also seems legit. I'm kind of leaning more towards cooking because it's something I've always wanted to learn but the courses are a month long. What happens once you've complete the month long course? Do you have to keep signing up for month long courses? With Muay Thai I've dabbled in it before and I wouldn't mind doing it 1-2 times a week long term.

Pretty straight forward, applied for workcation as a Director of company(registered with investment commission)

Just ask me what I'll be doing which my answer was managing my company from here and probably travel around thailand. Paid the fees and got back in two days.

- company annual tax return (notarized)

- company letter detailing my work addressed to Ambassador with stamp and seal

- bank statement 4 months (loads of transaction)

- Company Registration

- Company List of Shareholders

- passport copies

If you are a director/BOD of registered company, you don't need that much of documents apart from having a strong bank statement. Good luck 🙌

Hi, Does anyone know if DTV (dependent) can apply for girlfriend/boyfriend ? I am asking because immigration officer from the airport told me that I can apply for my girlfriend as well. So just wondering if anyone has experience with it.

Hi, my dear community,

Got a 5-year DTV visa for Thailand (digital nomad/freelancer). Applied in Penang after trying in Kuala Lumpur. Penang had more knowledgeable people who knew about freelancing.

Good luck, everyone! You deserve it, and you're an asset to any country's economy if you go there.
