Hello everyone, I'm working on my DTV visa. I have a question for the experienced among us. When entering Thailand, were you asked to show a ticket for a flight out of Thailand? I'm debating whether to close a ticket when I don't know when I'll be leaving Thailand during the year.😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand on a DTV visa, it generally seems that you are not required to show an outbound flight ticket. Several individuals with DTV visas have reported that they were not asked for an outbound ticket during immigration checks upon arrival. However, some airlines may require proof of onward travel before boarding your flight to Thailand.

No not entering with a DTV because you can stay 180 days per entry during your 5 year visa validity. No one would book an exit ticket so far in advance, you might need to go in weeks, a month of 5 months time🤷🏾‍♀️

I have a DTV. When I entered Thailand, I wasn't asked for an outbound flight ticket, neither in Thailand nor in my home country (from where I left).
