I have a joint owned brokerage account with my wife linked to my checking account with Charles Schwab. I have $50000 in the brokerage account and all the money is in their money market mutual fund SWVXX which is an interest bearing cash account that can be converted to cash in 24 hours. If I allot for a DTV - will I need to move the mutual fund to cash at least 90 days before applying? Or can I move it to cash and then apply? Or does it matter? In any event the account has been over $50k for a year or more.

I have a non-o retirement visa. Question, on the 90day report, my last report i did online and the date for next report is due on 27th Jan, however i had a short overseas trip recently, do i use the entry day stamp in my passport +90 days as the entry date on my next 90day report. Thanks

For the 1 year extension based on marriage to Thai wife, when going back to get the extension inked in, after the 21 day under consideration period (at Cheng Watthana). Is any paperwork, documentation, etc required? Or just show up with passport?

I’m looking for some help regarding my DTV visa application. I applied online from France as a digital nomad, and since November 22, 2024, I have received weekly emails requesting additional documents. However, I haven’t received any requests in the past week. I have provided all the documents they asked for.

Last week, the status of my application changed from "processing documents" to "processing pending approval (1)." Does this mean I need to wait for it to be approved, or should I contact them to inquire about the approval process?

It's been a month already, and my ticket to Thailand is for January 2, 2025.

Does anybody know if their bank statement monthly summary was enough or did any embassy want to see all transactions?

Question, I applied for DTV online at the Thai embassy in Washington DC from Thailand. It was issued within days, so easy. I’m still in Thailand on a tourist visa. I want to do a land border run and come back a day later. I won’t have any problems right? I have the issued visa printed page.

While keeping my fingers crossed that my dtv as dependent will be issued atleast in time for our return flight to Thailand, will it be possible if Dtv did not arrive and our evisa in HCMC expires we have to leave, for me to fly to manila, wait for my dtv then return to Thailand with it..or do I have to be coming from HCMC to fly in with my dtv?. If I return to Thailand without dtv for sure I won't be allowed in Bec we already exhausted our 90 days ( 2x) and to apply for evisa to HCMC again will keep me in the Thailand airport for days while waiting for it? Where as if I fly to manila I don't need to worry about visa..tia..
