Hello, I’m currently in Thailand.

I stayed 3 weeks in April, 2 months in October- November and I did another visa exemption to stay until January 10th. So a total of 91 days this calendar year.

I’m planning on coming back end of February (via land border after Laos) with a tourist visa.

Is there a possibility I get denied entry?

I have two medical appointments with two different hospitals in bangkok. They have email me back the confirmations of the appointments. I have more than 500k baht in my savings account. I wonder if they are enough for my DTV applications.

So no dtv in sight as we landed in Bkk..but happy to say that I got in easily with a 60 day free visa..the IO was a smiling guy and funny that he stamp my passport first before asking how long I'm staying and if a applied for a dtv

I showed a copy that saya pending approval and he smiled saying he was worries he stamped the wrong visa on my passport.! So it's nice to be back on Thailand, air is different and I can go back to my normal routine ..my health declined in HCMC due to my diet restriction and can't eat food with sugar..I get to rest my worries for now and will just wait for the dtv and make a flight out again..

Started Jan 1, 2025, tourist visas are obtained online, right? Any idea what the approval time is? How does that affect visa run by land? Appreciate any wisdom.

My questions are : when you apply as a freelancer, and show your tax return, does it have to be in english ? Mine are in Spanish.

Second question : what if my tax returns are not just about my freelance activity but a mix of incomes ? (I’m also a normal employee in Spain and pay taxes on that and renting out a property)

Do you think they will look specifically for my tax returns regarding the freelance activity or not ?

I have been in Thailand for nearly 10 months in 2024. First on a 60 day evisa (before 60 day stamp came out) and maxed my border bounces/ extensions. Currently I am in Vietnam. Will my stay history impact getting DTV for soft power activities?

I want to go back to Thailand in the new year while I wait for my bank balance to qualify over ~3 months (for Phnom Pen )but not sure if this will be a good look given my history.

I guess it’s too early for anyone to have experience with this yet, but does anyone know if it’s possible to change to a different Muay Thai gym after 6 months of the soft power Muay Thai dtv?

I applied for the DTV as a remote worker with the Los Angeles office on Dec 6. They asked for more information on Dec 12, which I submitted on Dec 13. I haven’t heard anything else from them since then. My application status on the web portal still says “Processing Pending Document Check”.

Anyone know what the current lead time is like for DTV applications, specifically the Los Angeles embassy? I’m about two weeks out before I leave for Thailand and I’m getting nervous.
