Going to be in Thailand about 7 months at the end of this visa run. Is it likely to get denied if I stay in a neighboring country shortly and apply for another multi entry tourist visa when that runs out?

People keep saying you can’t keep coming in on a 60 day visa exempt. We have been travelling Asia the last 3 years, so end up coming into Thailand app 3 or 4 times a year. If I shouldn’t be using visa exempt people say get dev. But we aren’t working we are travelling, so don’t fit the requirements. What else should we do?We are not retiring here either, so the visa exempt is our only option that I know of. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I have plans to return to Thailand in April 2025. I want to apply for the DVT visa, but I’m seeing you have to arrive within 3 months of approval. So do I wait to apply? Go for it now since it will take time to get approved? I won’t be back in my home country ( USA) for another 8 weeks. Apply then? Not staying long in home country, only 3 weeks then I’m off again. I definitely need accurate advice.

I need to extend my marriage visa. Does anyone know if the Central Festival location in Chiang Mai can process this, or is it better to go to the Airport branch? Thanks 🙏

DTV and 90 day reporting.

Hello all and happy new year. I am on a DTV in Chiang Mai, arrived in mid Oct so my 90 day report will be due in the next couple of weeks. As this is my first report do I need to go to immigration office or can I do online 🤔. Thanks

Have to get a new extension next month for Non-O (over 50). First time doing it in Bangkok. Does Chaengwattana require the bank issued transaction record or does the updated bank book and copy showing 12 months of transactions suffice (along with the bank letter)?

I am intermittently mediocre with empathy. I just got all fired up with the behavior of a tourist and my wife suggested i was maybe a culture thing.

So, are there any cultures where leaving the door to an air conditioned cat cafe open is a reasonable thing to do? I am pretty sure this is a universally shit behavior?

Hi, what would you guys say is the best visa to stay for around 6 months? Education or tourist visa with extensions etc? What would be the cost? Thank you to any experts who can give some info.

Came through immigration this pm. USA passport. 4th trip visa exempt in one year. Io gave me a warning next time will be a problem. I told him I will be applying for retirement visa. He made a note to my file. Did I get wrong IO or is 4 the limit?

Do you have to go back to io and inform them if you have a change of address shortly after receiving your first 1 year extension

Or wait until next extension is due !!
