I m trying to gather all informations about DTV, I am currently in Thailand, with a tourist visa entry, I was hoping to get the best alternative to apply, if I understood good, you can’t apply for Thailand if you area already here ? What would be the best procedure and steps to follow? To extend my visa and leaves the country by the end of it apply from a border country? Ida there any “better” country to do this from? I have a quick question regarding the DTV application. I meet all the requirements (assuming the rules haven’t changed recently! 😄). Specifically, I’ve already transferred the required 500K THB from my business account to my personal bank account (WISE) 15 days before applying.

Should I provide bank statements for both my business account and my personal account, or is the personal account sufficient? For context, the business account is under my US LLC, where I am the sole member, and it’s where I receive payments for my services. Additionally, my company also has investments in crypto and other assets. Would providing this information help strengthen my application?

From what I can read, to get approved, I must be able to provide evidence of having 500k baht in my bank account. That's fine, but do the money have to stay there for the entire stay in Thailand or am I allowed to use some of it?

The alternative is a sponsorship letter, if I'm not wrong? What would that look like? Does anyone have an example of such a letter?

Quick question, what is considered "recent" statement with end balance of 500,000? I a applying on 6 january, have screenshots from 20 december when my salary was deposited. However, since then, I am now below the required amount. Would the screenshot from 20 december suffice? Applying via Ho Chi Minh City

Hello all. I am currently in Thailand and have a long term rental, 6 months, and a completed TM-30. The lease is up in March which is when I plan to leave and apply for my DTV. My question is if I depart and apply before my lease is up would that cause me to be at risk for denial with already having a TM-30?
