Will my stay history affect getting a DTV visa for soft power activities in Thailand?

I have been in Thailand for nearly 10 months in 2024. First on a 60 day evisa (before 60 day stamp came out) and maxed my border bounces/ extensions. Currently I am in Vietnam. Will my stay history impact getting DTV for soft power activities?

I want to go back to Thailand in the new year while I wait for my bank balance to qualify over ~3 months (for Phnom Pen )but not sure if this will be a good look given my history.

Appreciate any insights, thank you in advance!! 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether their nearly 10-month stay in Thailand, which included a 60-day evisa and multiple border bounces/extensions, will affect their eligibility for a DTV visa for soft power activities upon returning from Vietnam. Community comments suggest being prepared with sufficient funds, as immigration systems track past interactions, and recommend waiting until they can qualify for the DTV.

Thank you! On my last extension the IO advised me to get a METV, but agree to play it safe as best course of action. 🙏

Keep in mind that any interaction with them, whether a warning, or even refusal, is in the database, and immigration's computer system is getting pretty advanced very fast, it's better to just wait in Vietnam until you get the DTV. That already does what they would warn you about, or refuse you, so it looks good to immigration.
