Hi all, im arriving Friday 3rd Jan evening on a 60 day VOA after exiting the country for 10 days.

I originally arrived on Oct 30th with a 60 day tourist evisa applied thru the Thai Embassy in Canberra and exited on Dec 23rd.

My question is that I dont have an accomodation booking as im currently renting a condo for 6mths.

Will that be an issue? Or should I book one nights accomodation somewhere to help navigate immigration at the airport?

I plan to organise a more suitable visa in the next few weeks.

Asked a question a while back about the bank statement to prove monthly income. Someone said you had to choose "for long term visa" as the transfer reason. There was some other input.

These are the options. None talk about visa. Thoughts?

EDIT: this is a wire from an E-Trade account.

Is it possible to get a Thai residence certificate less than 90 days after re-entry? I'm on a 5 year Elite visa. I've been here for a year, and already done a few 90 day reports, but I've recently re-entered. I need a residence certificate so I can renew my Thai driver's license, and everything I'm reading says I need a 90 day report after my most recent entry in order to get a residence certificate. It seems a bit silly that I have to wait 90 days to be able to renew my drivers license just because I recently left the country and came back. Is there any way around the 90 day report requirement for getting a residence certificate to renew my drivers license? I'm on Koh Phangan.

Hi all. How often can you do a 60day (+30 day for a total of 90 days) per calendar year? And do you have to fly out or is a border run ok?

With the new E-Visa can we assume that visa exempt will also be exempt from the E-Visa?

Have we gotten any reports from DTV holders returning to Thailand, after leaving the first time?

And has anyone tried extending their 180 days yet? What were the requirements?

TIA

I am currently in Thailand and intend to apply for a muay thai DtV visa in Laos or Cambodia. My question is, is it possible to apply while I am in Thailand? Even though I am applying to an embassy outside of Thailand. Thanks for the help.

Is it fine to apply for soft power(muay thai) instead of marriage visa for a foreign husband? It is less paperwork and 5 y.

If a person’s DTV application gets rejected, can they still visit Thailand a few days later leveraging the visa on arrival (60 day VOA or Visa free option)
