Advice sought please !! Will re locate Thailand in Feb ! Am looking at transferring $$ from Australian bank to "Wise" to Thai bank !! As bank & wise apparently always use/send a " verification code" for transfer authentication I cannot get this as sent as SMS!! I would really appreciate a way around this without having to resort to a " VPN!?". Cheers

On 60 plus 30 .90 day tourist visa 50 days left .can I apply for a marriage visa(married to thia wife uk marriage)can I get a bank account as need to put(about £10000)in bank and can that go in a acings account or current account. Ok, from my last post many people are recommending the DT visa when addressing Thai immigration not being happy with people using the visa exempt system too often. I mentioned we do not want to live n Thailand. We do not work in Thailand. And I am a didital nothing. So this leaves studying something as the only option to comply with the requirements of this visa category. I have no problems with this, I love learning new things. I would just like to ask others exactly what courses they have used to SUCESSFULLY meets this requirement? I appreciate your experiences and any help with this question.

Has anyone received a DTV using a sponsorship letter instead of the B500k in a bank account? does this sponsorship letter come from employer, or can I as a parent provide that in the case of my daughter thanks

I need to extend my tourist visa and want to try the e visa extension. I read the information on the official website but I don’t really get it… I have to go to the office and get my stamp at the e visa counter. Yes. But is it necessary that I go the before my actual visa is running out? Or can I go whenever i want?

Did I miss some news about visa exempt arrivals? A friend arrived to Thailand from the US in late December and was stamped in for 90 days. I thought you only received 60 days now and could go to immigration to extend it another 30 days.

I am not on overstay, and depart in a couple weeks.

I was just wondering, what happens at the automated departure gates for some on overstay.

Do they stay closed and how is the fine paid ?
