How can I transfer money from Australia to Thailand using Wise without receiving SMS verification codes?

Advice sought please !! Will re locate Thailand in Feb ! Am looking at transferring $$ from Australian bank to "Wise" to Thai bank !! As bank & wise apparently always use/send a " verification code" for transfer authentication I cannot get this as sent as SMS!! I would really appreciate a way around this without having to resort to a " VPN!?". Cheers

Received verification code from three companies which I have no business with in one day. Should I be worried that my number is used by someone? Or what's happening? Anyone experienced the same thing?
