Hello!

I am on a Non-O retirement visa and re-entered Thailand on Dec 3 on a single re-entry visa. I understand my previous 90 day report was voided after returning.

Can anyone tell me what day I can do my 90 day report by?

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The next 90-day report for someone with a Non-O retirement visa, who re-entered Thailand on December 3, is due on March 2. You can report 15 days before or up to 7 days after this date, and since it is your first report after re-entering Thailand, it must be done in person.

Nice but doesn’t answer the question correctly.

There’s one day from today to tomorrow but for immigration that 2 days ;)

yep you dont have to be a rocket scientest to work it out. I usually work it out for visas and stuff then set a reminder on phone few days before.

If you cant use a calendar correctly something is wrong

Yep I said it’s nice but not very helpful.

Who can use a calendar can count the weeks or days too ;)

Report is due Sunday 2nd March. You can report 15 days prior or up to 7 days after that. You will need to report in person as it’s your “1st” report after entering Thailand.

Correct but I wouldn’t do the 7 days after. Some officer might want to have tea money for “overstay”.

There would be no issue. 8 days or 80 days late the fine is 2,000 baht.

1. Has that changed? When I ran into it I had to pay 500 per day.

2. There still is the odd officer telling ppl that they have to pay more. ;)

You’re confusing overstating a visa/entry stamp with a late filing of a 90 day report.

Overstay is 500 baht per day. Late filing of a a 90 day report is 2,000 baht regardless of when you next file.

Ok. Then that officer got me.

About 2 years ago I totally forgot about the 90 days and had only a reminder for the extension. When I went there the officer counted 17 days and asked for 8500. (I got a receipt for only 1900 now that I looked in my papers, yes).

1900 baht is for an extension. The 8500 baht would be because you were late applying for the extension, not that you were late for doing a 90 day report.

Sorry but I know what happened.

I had a reminder for the extension 5 days ahead. Went there and the officer said I had not done the 90 days, pointed to the paper at the end of my passport and said 17 days, 8500 baht. After that he asked me the remaining papers.

And I don’t wonder. It was the boss of the office. After I didn’t send 65k every month but sometimes more sometimes less, he said he could manage the 800k, he could do that for me for 25k.

What office? Sounds like one of the rogue South Island ones that are known to be a bit “creative” with rules.
