Is it possible to switch from a Non-B as a company owner to a DTV after dissolution of company? If so, should I apply while in the country or leave for a determined amount of time and apply while outside of the country?

Is there a charge for a Non Immigrant O Visa? I'm on the Thai embassy website and it looks as though it's £150.

Or is that the cost of an annual extension.

Thanks.

Hello everyone, has anyone extended the 180-day DTV Muay Thai visa? What documents do immigration ask for to get an extension?

Hey, I need to extend my DTV visa soon. What documents do I need to provide, and can I extend it without leaving the country?

Applying for DTV as digital nomad / remote work in Hanoi Vietnam. US passport. I think I got the bank/work docs lined up. Questions:

Does the residence/location back in

Thailand have any meaning? Or ok to put some hotel address? I don't have a condo yet nor idea where I’ll live long term. Need to add supporting docs of any kind for this?

Dates-

not sure what date I'll get in (as I don't know when visa will be approved and if I book the flight immediately after) nor when I leave Thailand again (not planning to stay long until I come back to bring all my personal items from the US later in 2025-26)

Lastly do I must enter Thailand within 3 months of visa issuance or can come back in late 2025-6? Hearing conflicting opinions.

Thank you great group!

Hello.

My first 180 days will expire on January 27th. Can I simply leave the country and come back in and get a new 180 days?

Suppose I left on January 24th and came back in on January 25th, would I get a new 180 days from January 25th? Or would my old visa hold precedent and it only give me the remaining 2 days left on that visa?

Thank you for your help!

Hi everyone!

I got my DTV approved while being in Thailand. So now i need to leave Thailand and come back.

What do you think is the cheapest way? Knowing that i'm currently based in Hua Hin, and next month i'll be in Koh Phangan. If i can leave and come back the same day, that's the best.

I'll do it either from Hua Hin or Koh Phangan.

Thank you very much 🙏

"I received my DTA visa last year in November, and I'm currently based in Australia. I work in Australia, where my primary income source is, but I’m planning to move to Pattaya for good. I’m drawn to the lower cost of living and a more peaceful lifestyle there compared to the hustle and bustle here.

I have a fair bit of savings (about 150k AUD) and plan to live off them for the first 1.5 years. My monthly budget is roughly 30,000–40,000 THB. I’m not a partygoer and would like insights into potential monthly expenses, including:

* Rent

* Food

* Transport

Could those familiar with the cost of living in Pattaya provide realistic estimates or advice on this plan? Thanks in advance!"
