When applying for the Muay Thai Via E-visa?

Do I need to send my passport, or they send me a letter

Once the visa is approved, do I have to travel

immediately, or can I wait?

If I apply now without a set travel date, will they ask for an airline ticket and accommodation details?”

Much appreciate your knowledge!

So just to be clear. You get one 180 day extension in a five year period. So once you use that single extension you cannot get another for the visit if the visa and have to leave within 180 days. Then secondly for the 90 day reporting you only need to do that if you are staying past 90 days . So if you leave the country at 89 days you would be exempt from the reporting ? And then every time you enter it’s automatically 180 consecutive days again you can stay?

I am preparing an online DTV application, the workcation category. Do i need to add my ticket / flight confirmation and hotel/accommodation details, and if I do, where should I include them? I don't see any specific fields for those documents.

I applied for a DTV visa on 29th December. The next day, they asked me to provide an additional document, proof of address such as a bank statement or a bill. So directly I sent a bank statement.

Today is January 4th and I have no news.

I am in Mauritius and am attached to the Royal Thai Embassy in South Africa

is it normal that i have no news? what do you think?

Thx

Can you still work remotely under a soft power visa? I am not planning on applying under workcation just wanted to know if it’s legal to work remotely(not for anyone in Thailand, but for a foreign company) later while still under the soft power visa?

Learn Thai with the Rapid Method and be eligible for a DTV?

Canaan Foundation for Education would like to offer the one-year Rapid Learn Thai course as part of their DTV "soft power" program.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs won't say specifically in advance whether it will be approved or not. In fact, they're very vague in general.

So if one person is prepared to take a chance on testing the eligibility then I'm prepared to give away the self-study Rapid Read Thai course (worth ฿12,000) in return.

If your application is successful then there will be a fee for the tutor to guide you through the course and/or follow up with the first-year University of Washington conversational course, Everyday Thai for Beginners.

Any takers?

# DTV timing

Hello guys, I'm looking forward to get the DTV visa, but I'm unsure on how long will it take. Does anyone have a rough idea?

I'm from Spain and I'll ask the Madrid embassy.

I'd also like to ask if by doing 9mo muay thai will I get the 5years or do I need to apply again every time?

Thanks for the help.

Workcation - remote worker application through Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

I have been poring through posts from people who have applied through Vietnam as well as other countries and my question is:

1. if you have the documents, should you just submit them all?

ie - instead of providing the minimum and waiting for the request for additional documentation, just put everything into the pdf (paystubs, bank statements, resume, screenshots of remote work sample, etc etc if you have it)

Thoughts?
