Is there a charge for a Non Immigrant O Visa? I'm on the Thai embassy website and it looks as though it's £150.
Or is that the cost of an annual extension.
Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The cost of a Non-Immigrant O Visa can vary depending on the embassy and specifics of the application. One user mentioned that the fee listed as £150 may be for administrative purposes at the UK Thai embassy and likely refers to a retirement visa application. Another clarified that a 90-day Non-O retirement visa typically costs around £60. Additionally, extensions within Thailand generally carry a fee of 1,900 Thai Baht. It's essential to confirm the exact fees and requirements directly with the embassy or official sources.

I understand now that he was looking at a page on the RTE London website for Visa prices which does list Non-O multi-entry long after they stopped issuing them when eVisa went live

My information is that the £150 fee is the cost for admin at your Thai embassy ( UK )
For processing of your non o retirement visa application

I will be applying myself for a single entry non o immigrant visa at UK Thai embassy
I will apply for mine through their electronic visa application
- great question. I realise that I wasn't specific enough so thank you for getting me to clarify.
I'm a British citizen looking to retire to Thailand, and so the Visa I'm looking at is a Retirement Non Immigrant O Visa. I've been visiting a few times, am putting figures together. I would apply for it in the UK, online I guess?
So the question was: is there a charge for the first time and then for a renewal whilst in Thailand?
The application to the 1-year extension of stay permit out of a 90-days Non-imm-O visa can only be had inside Thailand on Immigration (not in the E-visa system) and it will cost a fee of 1900.- Thai Baht

I think you took a wrong turn. The fee for a Non-Imm-o 90-days retirement visa is GBP 60 . . . if it shows 150 GBP, you are probably applying for the multi re-entry 6-months tourist visa
because I know for sure the 150 GBP was definitely NOT the fee for a Non-Imm-O visa. It indicates he choose another visa type, obviously the multi entry 6-months tourist visa
I just gave her the correct answer 16 hours ago! She had a wrong start. She didn't find the visa she intended to apply for. The Non-O Retirement visa is 60 GBP, not 150 GBP
