Hey guys, I’m currently in Koh Phangan and looking to apply for the DTV visa. Can I apply for it online from Singapore, or would it be better to do it from Vietnam or Cambodia?

just a recap:

-before flying to Thailandia i need to fill online the tdac

-when i rent my condo I need the t30 receipt from the landlord

- before 90 days staying I need to go to the immigration office to fill the t90 (after the first time it's possible to fill it online).

anything else bureaucratic to do?

As a DTV holder, how feasible is it to rent a apartment/condo in bangkok for long term? Like minimum 2 years at least.

Assuming you return home every 180 days to avoid the hassle of extension, is it safe to leave your belongings in your rented place while you are away? Any dtv holders here who can chime in please?

I'm interested in the freelance and wondering about the timeline for application to approval for purchase of airline tickets? I know it will be different for all embassies but what is the range or the longest someone has waited for an approval? I would be applying from Europe. TYIA

Guys, I am self employed with my own sole proprietorship business in my country. I receive income in my current account. So should I show my current account statement or transfer money to savings account and show it?

I also have more than a million baht in savings. What happens if I transfer half of it to my savings just to show that 500,000 baht balance and keep it there for 3 months? Does that work? Or sell my car and keep that money in my savings account for 3 months (I don't need my car anyway).

Planning to apply for DTV Soft Power (Cooking) towards the end of this month (September) in Vietnam. I have the seasoned funds but currently unemployed.

Which embassy is more friendly these days, Hanoi or HCMC? My plan was to stay in Danang & Hue which fall under HCMC but if Hanoi is better I don't mind going north.

And secondly, do I have to fly from Vietnam to Thailand to 'activate' it, or does it not matter? I need to be in Japan early November so I was planning to fly back to Bangkok from there.
