Do I need to do a border run if my Non-O visa is approved after arriving in Thailand on a tourist visa?

Hi just a question if I apply for a non o visa and it hasn't gone through and flights booked come in on a tourist visa , and the non o comes through while in Thai , do I have to do a boarder run ? No bank account yet ,

Yes. You can only activate a visa issued by the embassy when entering Thailand. So if you received it after arrival you would need to leave and return.
