The place I´m staying does not have a street name nor soi name. And that´s how it is repoorted on my TM 30 - no problem. But when I tried to file my second 90 day report online (yes, I was exactly in the right time frame) the system did not accept my report. It did not say why but the only odd thing out was the fact that there´s no street/soi name. Yes, I chatted with the landlady and she said this is indeed the case. This is a resort where I am stayin, not a regular house adress. According to her, there are lots of addresses like this in Thailand so sgould not be a problem. I tried to file my report online at least 4 times without any success - frustrating as hell. Any advice for this kind of scenario, please?
p.s. I should add that the system did not give any error after I filed. But when I checked the next day, my report was not there - not found...
So can I ask your educated opinion of this, please? I got my Non-O visa in Bangkok but I now reside in Chiang Mai (so my TM 30 is in CM at the monment). Can I do my 90 day report in CM or do I need to fly to Bangkok?
I was recently in that exact same situation and when returning, I spoke with the immigration officer at the Suvarmabhumi airport. I asked, can I go and do the 90 day report anywhere in the country or do I need to use the same immigratin office that provided me with my Non-O visa? And I also asked what is the time window for transferring my visa to my new pasport?
They answered: You have to do the 90 day report according to your TM 30, so in the immigration office of that area ONLY, it does not matter which office granted the visa in the first place. And, you can transfer your visa to your new passport any time before you apply the 1 year extension. They recommended I did that at the same time with my 90 day report.
I double checked to make sure I understood 100% and yes indeed, that was what they told me.
