thanks for what appeared a positive response however everyday a Skool day it seems

Evidently the best course of action ahead of such question I posed here was to ACTUALLY go visit the immigration office in question. Now having just done that, I am officially informed that I CANNOT apply sooner than 30 days prior to expiry of my non O.(at this particular office at least, Sukhothai)

yes I gave them departure date end of Oct. so perhaps they consider that too.

Currently taking lessons in patience, crucial in this day and age.

Thanks everyone. Food for thought. I’ve got a few months to go over it again but looks like non O from UK and then go extension based on marriage root and then re entry permits. What a palaver!
